Through the help of the Pikes Peak 99s and High Hopes for Teens
co-founder Al Mathews (Pikes Peak 99s provided her registration fee
and Al Matthews provided her transportation), Belinda DeMario was
able to attend “Women Soar, You Soar” at Oshkosh Airventure 2010.
She has since returned home and had a fabulous time. Belinda
made such a good impression that she was awarded a scholarship at
the end of the event from, appropriately, the 99s! It is a $500
flight scholarship and a full year’s membership in the 99s…so she is
now an official member of the Pikes Peak Chapter of the 99s.
